Anyone who believes that punk is dead should go listen to the Blinders urgently. Urgency is even the best suited word to describe this Doncaster band. The Blinders play with the fullest punk energy. Guitarist and vocalist Thomas Haywoo, bass player Charlie McGough and drummer Matthew Neale formed the band in 2014 when they were still studying together in Manchester. The following year was spent writing, composing and rehearsing, playing gigs at every opportunity. This english trio's fame quickly increased thanks to their contagious energy, political words and their punk spirit - so untouchable and irresistible. Their first EP, "Hidden Horror Dance", released in 2016 was inspired by names like Iggy Pop, Nick Cave, Bob Dylan, The Fall and John Cooper Clarke. The Blinders are engaged in creating their own language, between punk and psychadelic. "Columbia", released in 2018, is this British band's first album and it will serve as a motto for their concert on the EDP Stage in Super Bock Super Rock.
