Directly from New Zealand, musician Marlon Williams is one of the main voices of his generation. And that was clear from the start when he released his first album, self-titled, in 2015. Young Marlon grew up in a family of music lovers and his musical taste always included names like The Beatles, PJ Harvey, Townes Van Zandt, Mozart, Echo & the Bunnymen, among others. He studied classical music but soon realized that he was more of a "Stratocaster than a Stradivarius". Marlon Williams owns a very particular vibration, a quasi-supernatural force capable of touching anyone who hears his lyrics. Comparisons with names like that of the great Roy Orbison are inevitable. Marlon's voice is unforgettable and he is also able to write love songs like few othrs. His latest album, "Make Way For Love", is this ability's best example. Broken hearted, after the end of a relationship, Marlon William offers us a set of songs that mix country, indie, soul and pop music with great mastery, styles that lie on a somewhat somber and melancholy atmosphere. “What’s Chasing You”, “Beautiful Dress” and “Nobody Gets What They Want Anymore” (recorded with Aldous Harding, the very muse of these songs) will be some of the most anticipated moments in Super Bock Super Rock.
