It is hard to talk about this century’s best rock without mentioning Julian Casablancas. The hope in rock is never lost, but always renewed – and that was The Strokes’ contribution to the history of music in the beginning of the century. But Casablancas isn’t keen on relying on his past conquests and hasn’t stop taking risks, showing that his true fuel is his love for music. Either committed to dominating synths (take a look at his first solo album, “Phrazes for the Young”) or around heavy guitar riffs, Julian’s music seems to follow a rule: It has to be felt in the body of those who listen. And the dance appeal doesn’t go away even when The Voidz dare into noisier atmospheres. In this project, the order is to experiment even further, distort a lot and tease the music lovers. After “Tiranny”, their debut record, Julian Casablancas & The Voidz return in 2018 with a second album, “Virtue”. The first single “Leave it in my Dreams” is one of the themes that promise to wake up Super Bock Super Rock audience.
