Classe Crua was born from the collaboration between two of the main talents in Portuguese music. Sam The Kid is a major producer in Portugal and Beware Jack’s voice has a lot to offer to the Portuguese hip hop beats and rhymes. Their partnership proved to be just right in 2019, when they joined forces to release Classe Crua, one of the best albums that year and still relevant in 2022. Ideas began taking shape in 2016, when Samuel Mira (Sam The Kid) was already one of the biggest names in Portuguese hip hop and Beware Jack was well into his musical career, having released four albums. Engana came out that same year, as a taste of the work to come from this partnership. The two talented beats and rhymes musicians then decided to enhance their work by inviting some of the main Lusophone music names to collaborate in their project. This is how Chullage, Phoenix RDC, RAPadura, Francisco Rebelo, João Gomes, Silab and AMAURA came to be part of the project that is now a reference in hip hop music made in Portugal. Tracks like “A Minha Praia” will no doubt captive audiences at Super Bock Super Rock on 15th July, LG by Rádio SBSR.FM stage.
